About me
Abtin Sadati, known by his artist name “Gaetha” is a sound artist based in the Netherlands, who embraces self-expressionism and currently studying sound art & sonic interaction design at the Utrecht School of the Arts.
His artistic endeavors delve deep into existential and emotional realms, aiming to encapsulate the precision of computer-generated compositions while reflecting the nonlinear essence of his being.
In simple words, I'm someone who loves sustained tones. When I look at trees or talk with dear friends, I get these simple yet complex existential feelings that inspire me to create sounds I want to hear. It could be anything from computer-generated algorithms controlling various aspects of a composition or sound design, to just taking my Zoom H5 mic outside and recording the textures and sounds of the city, people, or even the earth itself. My feelings change, and my approach changes, like the water flow. One day, I might be an ambient artist; the next, I could dive into experimental electronic music or even noise. It's not just about composing and producing, I also handle the mixing and mastering of my music most of the time and my approach to both is experimental and musical.
I love collaborating with others, the results are always richer and more memorable. I also provide mix and mastering services for record labels or self-release albums, so if you need one and would like me to handle the mix and mastering and assist with your project, feel free to contact me, I’d love to collaborate.
