Confrontation is an electronic duet founded by Amir Torangan and Abtin Sadati (aka Gaetha), with a concentration on improvisation, real-time sound design and sampling. “Decayed” is the first official studio album of this project.
This is a fully electronic, experimental album rooted in improvisation, real-time sound design, and sampling. We developed a system and set of instructions that guided our performances, with no post-editing or arrangement afterwards. All sounds were performed and recorded live.
