Confrontation is an experimental electronic duo formed by Amir Torangan and Gaetha. Born from a shared pursuit of unpredictability and spontaneity, our performances are a dynamic interplay of noise, texture, and rhythm, a living exchange of sonic data that evolves in real-time.

We treat the stage as a site of negotiation. Using live sound design and real-time sampling, the project focuses on:
Spontaneity: Moving away from pre-recorded structures, we cultivate an environment of live improvisation where every gesture informs the next.
Sonic Tension: We explore the spaces between hollow harmonies and decayed grooves. The "confrontation" lies in the resistance between our individual sound signatures, blending into a singular, unstable landscape.
The Decayed Aesthetic: Following our 2025 release, Decayed, the project continues to explore the beauty of signal degradation, feedback, and the friction between clean synthesis and raw, processed noise.
